Hello from Brookline Event Center. Well Spring hopefully is finally here. We are celebrating by having Angela West & Showdown play for us this Saturday April 20. Doors open @ 7:30 P.M. & band starts playing from 8PM until 12 AM. Angela West & Showdown is an award winning band & we are thrilled to have them here for all you line & partner dancers. And if you know someone who does not dance bring them along to listen to music. The bartender will be waiting and you can bring your own snacks.  Our next event is Saturday May 4, with The Gale County band. Looking forward to them also.  Bernie & Kathy are hosting beginners & intermediate dance lessons every Monday. Dropins are always welcome. DANCE TO REMEMBER – FUNDRAISER FOR ALZHEIMER’S RESEARCH THANK YOU

Huge thanks to all who participated in DTR on Saturday in Manchester, NH.  Over 100 people filled the hall Saturday creating a sea of purple.   Pictures are on Facebook thanks to Heather Davis and friends.  Instructors Steve Lescarbeau, Don Clayton, Dancin’ Dean, Gail Eaton, Ginger Kozlowski, Dan Albro, and I taught 14 dances during the afternoon.  My gratitude to all of them for sharing their teaching talent!  My staff did a terrific job getting the hall and raffle ready in a half an hour!  Mitzi Lesperance, Dotti Censabella, Denise Richard, Don LaCroix, Justin Brault and Spencer Sinisi – thank you!  Our raffle was amazing!  I am happy to be sending a check to the Alzheimer’s Association of Vermont for $2,758.00.

We are already planning next year’s event for March 22, 2014 with the addition of an evening workshop dance.  Bigger and better!  Watch for more information soon.    Thank you everyone!
